Fred VanVleet said his shoulder is sore, but he plans on being ready to play in Game 2 on Thursday against the Cavs.
VanVleet was taken out of the game after a couple of hard drives to the basket where he ended up on the floor. One in particular when he landed hard on his shoulder and then tried to confront LeBron James. He said the decision to take him out wasn't injury related and he later returned to the game in the fourth and had two game winning shot opportunities that he missed. Overall he played 15 minutes and scored 9 points and seemed to avoid re-injury. Raptors will need more out of him in order to avoid dropping into a 0-2 hole.
