The Nets were able to empty their bench for most of the second half on Friday, which allowed Nik Stauskas to get loose for 15 points and four triples in 15 minutes and Joe Harris to post seven points, four rebounds, seven assists and a triple of his own in 31 minutes.
Stauskas knocked down a couple and then decided to take a few heat checks, though that’s the sort of fun stuff you can do when you have a 40-point lead. He’s been a fleeting part of the rotation and has only seen legitimate minutes when Brooklyn is involved in a blowout. While his own fantasy impact is minimal, the biggest concern is that he’ll eventually eat into Harris’ workload. Harris posted a career-high in assists tonight but shouldn’t be counted on for more than threes and scoring going forward.
