Garrett Temple should be one of the most influential and important pieces in the Kings’ rotation when next season begins.
Temple is adored by most of his young teammates and at 31-years old, the Kings’ young players look at him as a mentor. Temple embraced the role and soon became the vocal leader in the locker room. The Kings are looking to use him like he’s their Swiss Army knife, capable of doing almost everything on the court. He’s expected to play both wing positions but primarily the SF position. The best part about Temple is that he never tries to do too much, he plays his role and he’s good at it. Doing whatever the team needs him to do and adapting to fit it’s needs is exactly why he might be looking at a starting job come this season.
