Gary Harris played 34 minutes in a win against the Mavs on Monday, finishing with 24 points on 9-of-13 from the field, four 3-pointers, two boards, four assists, two steals and three turnovers.
Harris and Nikola Jokic make a world of difference for the Nuggets who were struggling big time before they both finally returned to the starting lineup. Harris only shot 2-of-4 from the charity stripe, but that’s a fluky part of his otherwise very impressive night. In his last 3 games upon returning from the mysterious foot injury, he’s been a top-10 player. He won’t be this good, but this is obviously promising to those who held onto him for so long or stashed him after he was dropped by impatient owners. If he’s still available in your standard or deep league, then you need to find yourself a better league. Look for him to be a mid-round asset going forward.
