George Hill shot a sterling 10-of-11 from the field in Wednesday’s win, scoring 22 points with two triples, two steals and a block in 36 minutes against the visiting Raptors.
Guard play has been Cleveland’s Achilles heel but Hill balled out tonight. Will it last? Well, it’s definitely possible that Hill works back towards his career numbers after a poor start to his Cavs career, but whether or not you should run to the bandwagon for a guy who’s shooting .418 from the field this month is another question. Hill’s highly unlikely to recapture last year’s form unless he goes on a major tear, but owners in 12-teamers can stick him on watch lists at the very least. We’d like to see one more strong game before cutting anything of value, but there are worse proactive adds to make.
