George Hill went for 20 points, four rebounds, five assists, three steals and four 3-pointers in the Kings’ loss to the Jazz on Wednesday night.
Hill and De’Aaron Fox (six points, rebound, four assists, steal, block) starting next to each other is a fun experiment but games like these show that Hill isn’t quite ready to be replaced. This was one of Hill’s finest performances of the season but you shouldn’t expect to see it often. He hasn’t been his most motivated self in a Kings’ uniform and the offense has severely struggled no matter who’s running the show. Still though, with a consistent boost to his 3-point volume and his steals, Hill can make his way back into the top-150 and be worth an own in 12-team leagues
