George Hill had a very nice game on Friday, shooting 9-of-15 for 26 points to go with four rebounds, three assists and a steal in 36 minutes.
Hill was a big part of Utah building up a big lead in the second half and even had a few possessions where he and Chris Paul matched play for play in the third. The Jazz needed every bit of it tonight, as Shelvin Mack and Raul Neto combined for five points in 11 minutes. Hill was also able to shoot 4-of-6 from three, and tonight was a great display of his importance to Utah. The games missed during the regular season were a real drag, but perhaps he’ll be back in top form for the duration of Utah’s playoff run. His playoff owners would love to find out.
