George Hill (thumb) was able to go through a limited-practice on Tuesday and is questionable to play in Wednesday’s game against the Nuggets.
Hill has been sidelined for the last eight games due to a thumb sprain which has been really unfortunate for his fantasy owners who were feeling great by the way he started the season. Before going down with the injury, Hill was averaging 20.4 points, 2.9 rebounds, five assists and 2.3 3-pointers per game while also shooting 54.1 percent from the field. His numbers should come down with Rodney Hood and Gordon Hayward both healthy. Dante Exum has also been playing well in his opportunities with the starting lineup and may have carved himself a bigger role moving forward in the season. Hill should still be owned in all leagues we just want his owners to temper expectations.
Joe Johnson (sick) is questionable for Wednesday. George Hill participated (not full contact) is questionable. Burks and Favors are out.
