Gordon Hayward played 36 minutes in a win against the Lakers on Monday, finishing with 23 points on 7-of-16 from the field to go along with 6-of-9 from the line, three 3-pointers, six boards, five assists, two steals and two turnovers.
Hayward had a solid outing tonight and has been a top-10 player over his last seven games. George Hill has been out with a sprained big toe for the past three games, but Hayward is rolling regardless. He’s been just outside of the top-25 on the season and although people expected the Jazz’s depth to negatively affect his value, he’s still the top scoring option for his team. Expect him to keep it going against the Suns on Tuesday.
