• Grayson Allen
    G, Utah Jazz

Grayson Allen set multiple career-highs in a start for the Jazz on Wednesday, taking advantage of the opportunity to end up with 40 points on 11-of-30 shooting (five 3s), adding seven rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block.

Wow. Talk about ending things with a bang. That's exactly what Allen did. Donovan Mitchell sat his one out with thoracic spasms, so the team looked to Allen to deliver on offense. This game serves as an obvious high point to what was otherwise a nondescript rookie campaign for Allen, who wound up just appearing in 37 games due to the lingering effects of a nasty right ankle sprain he suffered on Christmas Eve. Still, the final takeaway here is that Allen has showcased his potential and is a sophomore to watch in 2019-20.
