Greg Monroe played 30 minutes in a Wednesday start, picking up 17 points, 11 rebounds, one steal and two blocks while Alex Len picked up nine points, six rebounds, three assists, one steal and five blocks in 18 minutes off the bench.
Tyson Chandler is going to come back and wreck this for both of them, but at least we had one night. The Suns insist on playing all three centers despite the obvious benefits to playing their two best players in the battle for as much as possible — one is a solid player who stands to up his trade value while the other is a former top pick and still just 24 years of age. Both Monroe and Len are worth firing up whenever Chandler is out, and nights like these are worth remembering for when Phoenix shuts Chandler down later this year.
