• The Mavs weren’t tested much in Monday’s 98-75 win over the Wizards and were led by Harrison Barnes, who shot 9-of-16 for 20 points, 10 rebounds, one steal, one block and one 3-pointer.

Barnes shot 3-of-13 on Saturday but got right back on track tonight. He’s a rock solid middle-round guy given his percentages, scoring and rebounds and did well to chip in some cash counters in this one. Washington offered little resistance for anyone tonight but it’s still good to see HB take advantage. While his limited stat set means his ceiling is lower than most players who assume his usage, Barnes is a nice complementary scorer if you ever opt to build your team around someone who’s a little light in that department.
