Harrison Barnes played 34 minutes in a loss to the Wolves on Monday, finishing with 30 points on 13-of-23 from the field, four 3-pointers, two rebounds, one assist and one turnover.
Barnes was really great for scoring and treys, but he offered not much else tonight. On the bright side, he has been a top-25 asset in his last seven games. During that span, he’s been averaging 22.7 points, 4.9 boards, 1.9 treys, 2.0 dimes, 0.9 steals and 0.9 turnovers per game, while shooting 51.7% from the field and 88.0% at the stripe. His disastrous preseason must feel like a distant ephemeral dream, probably already forgotten.
