Harrison Barnes potted 14 points in Monday’s preseason win but was unable to dent the stat sheet almost everywhere else, producing just one triple and four rebounds.
Barnes can get you some points, but the lack of peripherals will make him a plodding mid-round guy when players in similar positions catapult to top-50 hype. He also shot an uncharacteristic 1-of-4 from the free throw line, but don’t expect that to continue. The new starting power forward, Barnes will be a safe top-75 play this season.
