• James Johnson
    PF, Miami Heat

James Johnson is expected to be "consistently better" following his sports hernia surgery.

James Johnson's production dipped last season. Most notably, his three-point shooting and blocks were at 0.8 and 0.7, respectively. Compare this to his 1.1 triples and 1.1 blocks from year prior and you can understand why some fantasy owners may have been frustrated. He was steadfast in being more of a facilitator this season and this may very well have been because of his sports hernia for which he had surgery for this offseason. His agent believes that the injury absolutely affected his play and added that Johnson's threshold for pain is unlike anything he's seen. It was reiterated that he should be ready for training camp and we should expect more consistency from him this year.
