According to Ira Winderman, the Heat have added enough talent to go deeper down their bench compared to last year.
Although the Heat lost their leader and franchise player in Dwyane Wade during the offseason, they added multiple pieces to the team that will allow them to go deeper in their bench. If they do go deeper it could mean less fantasy value for certain players and things could get a bit dicey with players splitting minutes. With the exception of Dragic, Whiteside and Winslow, the other players on the team don’t have a clear role. If Bosh were able to return he would probably have his minutes watched over carefully as well, allowing more minutes to go around in the front-court. The Heat look like a team that could be really annoying to deal with in the Eastern Conference but in terms of fantasy there are only a couple of players worth your time and you know who they are.
