Michael Carter-Williams is back in the rotation as the backup point guard for the Bulls.
Carter-Williams is averaging just 3.8 points, 2.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 12.5 minutes over Chicago’s last five games. Rajon Rondo will start, and given his propensity to disappear every now and then MCW could be worth a pickup down the line but we’re not at all excited about his prospects. It’s a reflection on the sad state of Chicago’s point guard rotation, with Jerian Grant proving ineffective and Cameron Payne leaving a lot to be desired before his foot injury. File this one away but know that it probably won’t have any fantasy impact.
