DeMarcus Cousins will watch the Pelicans' playoff run from the sidelines after tearing his Achilles but still turned in a wildly successful season, returning top-6 value in 8-cat leagues and a top-15 finish in 9-cat leagues despite 5.0 turnovers per game.
There were lots of questions about how the Pelicans could fit everyone in together, but he, Anthony Davis and Jrue Holiday all turned in fabulous campaigns and led New Orleans to the playoffs. Boogie finished with a statline of 25.2 points, 12.9 rebounds, 5.4 assists, 1.6 steals, 1.6 blocks and 2.2 threes per game on .456 from the field. The rebounds, assists and threes were all career-highs and Cousins managed to gain twenty percentage points on his shooting despite a notable increase in 3-point attempts. Even though he only played in 48 games, he still delivered a top-35/50 total value finish. Cousins seems willing to sign with New Orleans long-term as he heads into free agency, and if that does come to pass owners will no longer need to worry about how Boogie and Brow can coexist. They're dynamite.
