• Isaiah Canaan was hot on Monday against the Mavs, scoring 17 points on 6-of-10 shooting with two triples, six assists, three steals and four boards.

There’s a new kid on the block in Phoenix and he’s handing out dimes and stealing minutes from his backcourt mates. For the second straight game Canaan shot 60 percent while playing more minutes than Tyler Ulis and Mike James. Canaan has never shot over 39 percent for a season and we don’t expect it to change at this point so feel free to chalk up his first two performances as a Sun to a hungry player trying to prove that he belongs in the league. If you’re looking to build a DFS lineup with a Suns guard you should look at Canaan over Ulis and James while Devin Booker is out.
