Isaiah Taylor turned in a productive outing in a backup capacity on Sunday, helping the Hawks pick up a huge win with 14 points, three assists, a steal and a block in 26 minutes.
It sure looks like Taylor has a chip on his shoulder after getting cut late in the preseason. He has filled in admirably with Malcolm Delaney out and is making a case to overtake him on the depth chart. We’ve seen a lot more promise from Taylor’s admittedly low minutes than we have from a year-plus of Delaney. He’s worth grabbing in very deep leagues at the moment, with Delaney possibly on the shelf for another game or so.
