In the absence of both Al Horford and Avery Bradley, Isaiah Thomas did his best to lift the Celtics over the Phoenix Suns. He produced a fantastic fantasy line with 35 points, on 10-of-25 shooting from the field, 5-of-12 from downtown, and 10-of-11 from the line. Unfortunately, all of those shots were not enough as the Celtics fell to the Suns, 106-109
Boston’s superstar guard also handed out five assists and got two steals to round out his line. Expect huge games from Isaiah whenever Horford and/or Bradley misses time. While the Celtics did lose, Thomas’ owners won on Sunday and took his great production to the bank. You can count on similar games like this one from Thomas in the Celtics’ upcoming 4-game week ahead.
