Isaiah Thomas was Boston’s only bright spot against the Cavs on Wednesday, as the All-Star point guard scored 26 points in a full line.
He was literally the only reason Boston was still within striking distance after the first half, as the rest of team looked downright constipated offensively. Thomas added four boards, six assists, one triple and one block to his scoring output, but it simply wasn’t enough against a locked in LeBron and company. The Celtics have now fallen behind the Cavs in the Eastern Conference standings, and will look to bounce back against the Hawks on Thursday.
