Isaiah Thomas (torn labrum in hip) is a few weeks away from deciding whether he has surgery or not.
While discussing his yearly hometown celebrity basketball tournament in Tacoma, Washington, Thomas said he feels alot better but still can’t run. Once a decision is made on whether surgery will be performed then a clear timeline will be in place for his return to the court. Either way, we will likely see Thomas on the court for the Celtics at the start of the regular season. Since the Celtics traded out of the top spot in the draft (and passed on Markelle Fultz), Thomas’ fantasy value will remain high next year as the unquestioned leader and top ball handler for Boston.
