J.J. Redick scored 15 points (three treys) to go with seven boards, two assists and two steals in Friday’s win over the Pelicans.
Redick picked it up where he left off, averaging 14.4 points and 2.2 threes and a steal in the five games he’s been back. It’ be nice if fellow 3-point bomber Robert Covington breaks out of his slump; he’s shooting under 39 percent over the last month (just top-120 value) and even Sixers’ beat guys are asking him if he needs to be more aggressive. For his part, Lord Covington said that he wasn’t going to force shots. He’s known for being streaky, so his buy-low window is still open.
