• Jacob Evans
    SG, Golden State Warriors

Jacob Evans is expected to get the first crack at the backup PG role according to Anthony Slater of The Athletic.

Take a look at the Warriors' current roster construction and you'll notice that this team has no real PG options outside of Stephen Curry and D'Angelo Russell. While it's safe to assume that Russell will get ample opportunity to run the show while Curry sits, this team will still need to find other ball-handlers. Evans will likely be asked to guard opposing teams' lead guards more than being a play maker. However, if he impresses enough in training camp he has an opportunity to get onto the floor in ways that the other Warriors' bench wings can't, making him the most intriguing of that crop.
