Jae Crowder (ankle) feels that he’s close to being able to return.
Speaking to Celtics reporter Jay King, Crowder sounded optimistic about his return. He digressed by stating that “we’re going to take all precautions” and that we’re going to “take our time with it.” A high-ankle sprain is no joke so we’re skeptical about a speedy return. The injury was originally expected to be a multi-week ordeal. Crowder’s ankle is limited to exercise on a stationary bike but the good news is that he’s not in a walking boot and is getting treatment on it twice a day.
