June 19, 2019, 1:29 pmJae CrowderF, Memphis Grizzlies
Jae Crowder is headed to the Grizzlies as soon as Wednesday's Mike Conley trade is officially completed.
Crowder reasserted himself as a quality stretch four last season after he struggled in his pit stop with Cleveland. He might not hold much utility on a squad that's rebuilding, and Crowder's best shot at fantasy value might be getting re-routed to another team. Regardless, Crowder would only be a late-round guy in 9-cat leagues at best, and he'll likely settle in as a streamer for threes, rebounds and the occasional steal. If he does play out the year in Memphis, he figures to impact the minutes of Kyle Anderson and Avery Bradley.

January 17, 2020, 10:47 pmBrandon ClarkePF, Memphis Grizzlies
Brandon Clarke put forth a strong effort in Friday's home victory over the Cavs, chipping in 15 points on 6-of-8 shooting to go with two rebounds, three assists, two blocks and a 3-pointer in 24 minutes.
Clarke went through a little lull at the start of January but has been solid through the last week, so hopefully you were able to buy low. The rookie has been outstanding, and his current top-100/80 standing in 8/9-cat leagues is buoyed by an elite .635 mark from the field. Fellow rookie Ja Morant was also solid in this one, posting 16 points, five rebounds, eight assists, three steals and a block. Big multi-cat lines are becoming a very regular occurrence there.
January 17, 2020, 10:45 pmJae CrowderPF, Memphis Grizzlies
Jae Crowder played through hip soreness on Friday night and was able to manage nine points, eight rebounds, three assists, three steals and a 3-pointer.
Nothing spectacular but Crowder played 30 minutes and this is the sort of plodding line that has him as a worthwhile option for the end of benches in 12-team leagues. His shooting isn't good but the rebounds, steals and threes are generally there.
January 17, 2020, 10:45 pmCJ McCollumSG, Portland Trail Blazers
C.J. McCollum will not return vs. the Mavs on Friday after spraining his left ankle.
McCollum rolled his ankle after stepping on Maxi Kleber's foot. Check back for an update on McCollum in the next couple of days. Anfernee Simons and Gary Trent Jr. are likely to see increased minutes and are two names to watch in 16-team leagues while McCollum is out. Damian Lillard, Carmelo Anthony and Hassan Whiteside will see a boost in value with McCollum out.

January 17, 2020, 10:43 pmJaren Jackson Jr.PF, Memphis Grizzlies
Jaren Jackson Jr. had a very quiet night against the Cavs on Friday, posting just 10 points, one rebound and a steal in 20 minutes of action.
Jackson picked up three fouls tonight and Brandon Clarke played well, so things just weren't going his way. Don't sweat this one much and expect JJJ to get back to typical business in the next one.
January 17, 2020, 10:42 pmDillon BrooksSF, Memphis Grizzlies
Dillon Brooks continued his nice scoring run in Friday's win, tallying 26 points and four 3-pointers while going 9-of-17 from the field.
Brooks did basically nothing else in the box score but there's low-end pickup appeal in all formats while he's running this hot. In his last seven, he's scored 22, 19, 28, 22, seven, 24 and now 26 points. Let the good times roll.
January 17, 2020, 10:39 pmDe'Anthony MeltonPG, Memphis Grizzlies
De'Anthony Melton didn't do a ton of scoring (three points) on Friday night but did come away with four rebounds, five assists and four steals in 20 minutes.
Melton's been a great pickup for the Grizzlies and he's actually posting value befitting rostership in 12-team leagues, though if you don't need steals or assists his appeal is severely limited. Still, Melton is averaging 1.2 steals and 0.4 blocks in just 17.3 mpg on the year, making him one of the league's more valuable and unheralded defensive specialists.
January 17, 2020, 10:38 pmCJ McCollumSG, Portland Trail Blazers
C.J. McCollum appeared to roll his left ankle on Friday and headed to the locker room with the trainers.
McCollum stepped on Maxi Kleber's foot and hopped around until the Blazers could call a timeout. He then headed straight to the locker room. Anfernee Simons and Gary Trent Jr. could see extra minutes if McCollum misses time, but they probably won't be an impact in standard-leagues. Most of McCollum's value would be absorbed by Damian Lillard, Carmelo Anthony and Hassan Whiteside if he misses time.

January 17, 2020, 10:37 pmCollin SextonPG, Cleveland Cavaliers
Collin Sexton dropped 28 points in Friday's road loss, going 11-of-25 from the field while adding four rebounds, six assists and three 3-pointers.
Sexton's now scored in double digits in 13 straight, with 20 or more in nine of those. Unfortunately, his lack of just about every other fantasy stat makes him a late-round option that's only suited for teams in need of scoring punch.
January 17, 2020, 10:34 pmLarry Nance Jr.PF, Cleveland Cavaliers
Larry Nance Jr. showed signs of life on Friday, collecting 16 points (7-of-8 shooting), six rebounds, two steals and two 3-pointers in 24 minutes off the bench.
Nance has been in a slide down the fantasy rankings since opening the year on a top-90 run, and as things stand he's only a stash in 12-team formats. That said, this line is a nice reminder of why, as Tristan Thompson (ejected after 25 minutes) and Kevin Love could both be traded. Nance would be a must-add if he's the last man standing in Cleveland's frontcourt, so we'd try and carve out space for him unless your team is completely full of top-100 guys.
January 17, 2020, 10:33 pmAl HorfordPF, Philadelphia Sixers
Al Horford put up 20 points on 8-of-14 shooting to go with five rebounds, six assists and two threes in 32 minutes on Friday.
Horford stuffed the stat sheet on Friday and has had at least five rebounds and five assists in each of the five games since Joel Embiid (finger) has been sidelined. Horford is a top-30 player over that stretch, averaging 15.4 points, 7.0 rebounds, 5.6 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.4 blocks. This is vintage Horford but his value will take a hit when Embiid returns. Try and sell-high on Horford after this stretch but make sure you get a top-40 player in return.
