Jahlil Okafor scored 21 points with six boards and one block on 9-of-14 from the floor and 3-of-3 from the line on Saturday.
Well that came out of nowhere. In the last seven games Okafor had only played more that 10 minutes once, so no one could have predicted this. It’s hard to endorse running out to pick him up after this, but if you have some dead weight on a roster it might not be a terrible idea, just in case. He’s better than starter Tyler Zeller and Jarrett Allen is still a work in progress, so it’s possible he gets rewarded for this game with some extended run in the near future.
