Jakob Poeltl filled in admirably for LaMarcus Aldridge (right thumb sprain) on Monday, double-doubling with 16 points (7-of-12 FGs, 2-of-8 FTs), 13 rebounds, one assist and three blocks in 36 minutes.
Poeltl was intentionally fouled a couple times near the end of the game and made just 1-of-4 free throws in that stretch, causing Greg Popovich to remove him from the close game. Poeltl is an obvious fantasy start again on Wednesday if Aldridge misses that game, too. But even if Poeltl is relegated to the bench, he's now blocked at least two shots in 10 straight games, so he's worth starting on many squads if the fit is right.
