Jamal Crawford has declined his player option with the Wolves and will hit free agency.
Crawford wasn't expected to return to Minnesota next year and the team had already been mapping out their next steps without him, per early offseason reports. He might be able to make more than the $4.5 million he was set to earn, albeit on a short-term deal, or he could simply take minimum offers and try to chase a ring. Crawford averaged 10.3 points a night in 20.7 minutes per game and is obviously slowing down but teams won't have to do a ton of mental gymnastics to pay for his scoring punch. He's unlikely to be a fantasy factor unless he lands in a perfect situation, however.
