Jamal Murray has been regularly rehabbing in the gym per Nuggets beat writer T.J. McBride.
Murray had surgery back in April and appears to be progressing steadily. The sophomore guard posted mid-round value in the last three months of the season (in 26 MPG) in the Nuggets’ fast paced offense. Murray is an excellent 3-point shooter and can shoulder much more of the scoring load should Danilo Gallinari leave in free agency. Jameer Nelson is well into the twilight of his career and Emmanuel Mudiay does not have Murray’s range so Murray should sooner or later consistently get the lion’s share of minutes, making him an excellent late round pick with a lot of upside.
