Grizzlies’ forward James Ennis has cashed in a strong preseason performance with the starting small forward job.
Ennis ended up with 14 points and 11 rebounds Monday during the Grizzlies’ comeback win over the Rockets. He matched career highs in defensive rebounds (nine), and free throws made (six) and attempted (seven) while notching his third career double-double. The dynamic forward has been delivering top-125 value this season and David Fizdale seems to like what he is seeing so far from him. The vote of confidence by his coach solidifies his status quo as the starting small forward and owners should keep an eye on him as he can contribute on both sides of the floor.
