James Harden revealed that he rolled his ankle in Game 3 against the Thunder but has been playing through the pain.
No surprises there, as Harden would have to lose a limb to miss time now. While it’s affecting his ability to drive, Harden remains supremely effective and has the Rockets up 3-1 on OKC. Even in a down Game 4 where he shot just 5-of-16 (and 0-of-7 from deep), Harden managed to deliver 16-7-8 to help put Houston over the top. It doesn’t seem too serious yet, but we’ll find out if Harden can avoid aggravating it going forward.
