James Johnson was able to salvage a 3-of-11 shooting line thanks to nine points, seven rebounds, six assists and a 3-pointer on Wednesday.
Not great, but there are a lot of players who’d be a total lost cause with that sort of inefficiency. Johnson has easy top-75 upside regardless of whether he starts or comes off the bench and will pay the bills on his defensive stats. The Heat have plenty of bodies vying for minutes in the frontcourt but none offer the playmaking dimension that JJ brings to the table, so there’s not much to worry about overall.
