James Johnson continued his strong play on Wednesday night, going 8-for-10 from the field for 22 points, four rebounds, five assists, a steal and two triples in just 21 minutes in a loss to the Sixers.
Johnson is now a combined 15-for-21 over his last two games but also played only 50 minutes. The Heat have a ton of useful combo forward types, which means it can be tough for JJ to get consistently high playing time. Games like these are why owners should sit tight with the occasionally-frustrating Johnson, who can produce top-60 value when the stars align. When he’s firing on all cylinders he’ll fill up a handful of categories at once without hurting you anywhere.
