• Jaren Jackson Jr.
    PF, Memphis Grizzlies

Jaren Jackson Jr. scored 20 points on 8-of-16 shooting, chipping in seven rebounds, two steal and a block in Saturday's loss to the Lakers.

The most surprising outcome of tonight's game for JJJ was that he was able to play significant minutes for Memphis without finding himself in foul trouble (2 fouls total). The 20 points against a solid Laker interior is a bright spot in the second-year player's season especially as he was able to convert from behind the arc, adding four 3's. He is has been a beacon for the referee's whistles so it is nice to see him exercise restraint on that end. If he can continue to stay on the court he will be able to contribute across the board.
