Despite earlier talk of the Nets possibly switching up their starting five, they stuck with Tyler Zeller (18 minutes, eight points, nine rebounds) over Jarrett Allen (18 minutes, 10 points, six rebounds, one steal, one block) for Friday’s easy win.
Zeller has been starting for the Nets of late but he hasn’t done a lick outside of the deepest fantasy leagues. Allen has a far more intriguing stat set thanks to his defensive upside and owners everywhere should be pulling for a switch. It seems like that speculation (coupled with the Wizards barely showing up) lit a spark under the team so it might be a few more games before a change comes. Allen is a luxury stash if you have room but is just a watch list guy for the most part at this juncture.
