Jarrett Culver is projected to play some backup point guard as suggested by Coach Ryan Saunders.

Coach Ryan Saunders mentioned Jarrett Culver playing some point guard behind Jeff Teague and Shabazz Napier. Culver showed some potential as a playmaker in his sophomore season at Texas Tech by averaging 3.7 assists in 32.5 minutes per game. He generated much of his offense through the pick-and-roll and will look to continue to do so with the Wolves. His natural position is on the wing and will be playing most of his minutes behind Josh Okogie and Andrew Wiggins. He is currently only a deep-league target as he isn't likely to play major minutes but keep an eye out on his role during the preseason.
