June 26, 2018, 8:59 amJaVale McGeeC, Golden State Warriors
Free-agent center JaVale McGee told ESPN he wishes to return to the Warriors and has no desire to relocate.
"I haven't thought about another team mainly because, hopefully, in my mind, I'm a Warrior for the rest of my career," he said to on Monday, six days before the free-agency period begins on July 1. "If that happens, it would be a blessing." Steve Kerr stayed with McGee as his starting center in the opening round of the playoffs against the Spurs, then changed course in the next two rounds, but in the Finals, after surviving Game 1, he went back to him. His run in the last four games might have earned him a spot on next year's team but it's not a guarantee and the Warriors might try to become younger this offseason.
February 28, 2020, 1:07 amDwight HowardC, Los Angeles Lakers
Dwight Howard came off the bench on Thursday and scored 13 points on 4-of-4 shooting to go with nine rebounds, three assists, a steal and two blocks.
Howard logged 24 minutes off the bench and was electric in tonight's win. He's shown the ability to put up efficient stat lines against mediocre teams, but the Lakers are a fantasy wasteland outside of their dynamic duo.
February 28, 2020, 1:06 amRajon RondoPG, Los Angeles Lakers
Rajon Rondo started on Thursday, scoring 12 points on 6-of-10 shooting to go with four rebounds, six dimes and two steals.
Rondo got the starting nod with LeBron James (groin) out, but he's far from being a reliable fantasy player on a regular basis. They played the worst team in the NBA, so anyone could have really produced here.
February 27, 2020, 11:35 pmDraymond GreenPF, Golden State Warriors
Draymond Green has been ejected from Thursday's game against the Lakers after scoring two points with one rebound, four assists and a steal in 10 minutes of action.
Green picked up his second technical arguing with a ref in the second quarter and has been tossed out of tonight's game.
February 27, 2020, 11:04 pmHassan WhitesideC, Portland Trail Blazers
Hassan Whiteside put up a strong double-double on Thursday with 18 points, 16 rebounds and four blocked shots as the Blazers fell 106-100 to the Pacers.
Whiteside has rebounded and blocked his way to an unlikely top-10 fantasy season and at this point, that's mostly sustainable especially with Jusuf Nurkic and Zach Collins with uncertain timelines. Keep rolling Whiteside out there.
February 27, 2020, 11:00 pmCarmelo AnthonyPF, Portland Trail Blazers
Carmelo Anthony had a quiet 12 points and seven rebounds in 36 minutes on Thursday night.
Anthony didn't do a ton offensively in this contest but was at least efficient in what he did do. He made five of his eight shots and only turned it over twice. Anthony and Trevor Ariza have both settled in as top-140 values this season and that should continue. Ariza had an off night, scoring eight points and hitting two triples in 37 minutes.
February 27, 2020, 10:55 pmCJ McCollumSG, Portland Trail Blazers
C.J. McCollum's 28 points on 11-of-27 shooting and eight assists wasn't enough as the Blazers' rally came up short on Thursday night.
McCollum is the primary scorer for this team without Damian Lillard, and he's going to continue to shoot at high volume. We like the scoring numbers, assists and the three triples, but 27 shots is a few too many to be comfortable with. Hopefully Lillard returns soon to take some pressure off of McCollum in these upcoming must-win games.
February 27, 2020, 10:52 pmGary Trent Jr.SG, Portland Trail Blazers
Gary Trent Jr. played a game-high 41 minutes on Thursday, scoring 20 points and hitting five 3-pointers in a loss to the Pacers.
Trent Jr. has been very useful in this short run without Dame Lillard. Hopefully for the Blazers, Lillard returns in short order which would greatly mute Trent's production. Still, he may manage to hold late-round value like he has over the last two months in 25 minutes per game. At that point, he'll likely be a streaming option.
February 27, 2020, 10:48 pmTJ WarrenSF, Indiana Pacers
T.J. Warren was productive in 38 minutes on Thursday, scoring 15 points, grabbing five boards and picking up two steals.
Warren is the Pacers' leading scorer and has primarily been an efficient point-producer on his way to top-60 value. For the time being, we expect that to continue for Warren. He seems quite underrated in general, much like his teammate Justin Holiday, who is providing top-120 value as a good 3-and-D option. Holiday had 11 points, three triples and a steal in this contest.
February 27, 2020, 10:43 pmVictor OladipoSG, Indiana Pacers
Victor Oladipo (sore back) put up 15 points on 5-of-9 shooting to go along with seven boards in 26 minutes on Thursday night.
We may not see peak Oladipo at any point this season but we're happy to see him out there and contributing at any level. For the time being, he needs to be held in hopes of a brighter tomorrow. Hopefully the shot starts to fall and he can make the most of limited minutes
February 27, 2020, 10:40 pmMalcolm BrogdonPG, Indiana Pacers
Malcolm Brogdon struggled from the floor on Thursday, shooting 7-of-20 en route to 17 points, six rebounds, eight assists and two cash counters in a team-high 38 minutes.
The percentage dip has really pushed Brogdon down the board this season and he's currently sitting right on the edge of top-100 value after a disappointing and injury-riddled past two months. He should be decently productive the rest of the way and should improve as Victor Oladipo gets back to full strength and takes away more defensive attention.
