Jayson Tatum finished with 14 points, five rebounds and a block in the Celtics’ blowout loss to the Bucks on Friday night.
It’s tough to judge a rookie in his first road playoff game but Tatum is another guy that could stand to be a little more aggressive on Sunday, not just in terms of getting shots up but also at the defensive end. The 20-year-old tortured the Bucks in Games 1 and 2 with seven total steals and two blocks, helping to bury a stagnant Bucks offense. Tonight, Tatum wasn’t nearly as active and Milwaukee made he and his teammates pay with 116 points, the most Boston has given up in regulation since March 3. If Tatum puts his smart, active hands to use on Sunday, it could force a highly confident Bucks team to change up their offensive gameplan.
