Jayson Tatum scored 17 points with four 3-pointers and six boards on Monday.
Tatum went 5-of-6 from the field and 4-of-5 from deep. He’s shown the willingness to let if fly from deep which is something many people didn’t foresee. Tatum has been great for the Celtics, mopping up rebounds, playing defense and being in the right position on offense and making the most of each possession. He’s not going to be consistent with his usage because of the plethora of weapons Boston has, but because of his high efficiency he’s at No. 44 in 9-cat leagues.
February 26, 2020, 11:43 pmKawhi LeonardSF, Los Angeles Clippers
Kawhi Leonard led the Clippers with a 24 point, 14 rebound double-double effort on Wednesday, while tacking on five assists and three steals.
Leonard continues to play some of the league's best basketball. Over the last two months, he has been the number one fantasy player in nine-cat leagues, and sits in the top-5 on the season. Owners will hope to carry this hot hand through the playoffs.
February 26, 2020, 11:41 pmAustin RiversPG, Houston Rockets
Austin Rivers scored 23 points on 9-of-12 shooting with three assists and four triples in 25 minutes as the Rockets beat the Grizzlies 140-112.
Rivers took advantage of the blowout and was able to get his stats. He's too inconsistent to trust as a streamer and can be left on the waiver wire outside of 20-team leagues.
February 26, 2020, 11:38 pmMarcus MorrisPF, Los Angeles Clippers
Marcus Morris put together a respectable performance on Wednesday, finishing with 18 points (6-14 FG, 4-8 3PT), five rebounds, three assists and a block in 30 minutes.
Morris had his best game with the Clippers so far, but it's hard to know what the production will be when Paul George is back to full strength. His value will be much clearer when the minutes distribution shakes out, but having them both in the starting lineup tonight is promising.
February 26, 2020, 11:34 pmGorgui DiengC, Memphis Grizzlies
Gorgui Dieng scored 10 points with two rebounds and one block in 19 minutes off the bench on Wednesday.
It's difficult to judge this box score since it was a blowout from the start of the game. Dieng is coming off of back-to-back double-double performances and scored 14 points with 10 rebounds and four blocks in 28 minutes on Monday. Dieng should be held in all formats while Brandon Clarke (hip) and Jaren Jackson Jr. (knee) are sidelined.
February 26, 2020, 11:31 pmPaul GeorgeSF, Los Angeles Clippers
Paul George struggled from the field in his limited minutes on Wednesday, but still managed 11 points on 4-of-13 shooting, one rebound, four assists and three steals.
George is still on a minutes limit which will hamper his production until he gets ramped back up. Patrick Beverley was also on a minutes restriction and scored 11 points with five rebounds and two assists in 24 minutes of action.
February 26, 2020, 11:28 pmJonas ValanciunasC, Memphis Grizzlies
Jonas Valanciunas double-doubled on Wednesday with 16 points on 6-of-9 shooting and 10 boards in a 140-112 blowout loss to the Rockets.
Valanciunas bounced back after being held to five points and seven rebounds on Monday. Valanciunas will have to step up for the Grizzlies with Jaren Jackson Jr. and Brandon Clarke out of the lineup. Valanciunas is a top-60 player on the season in only 25.8 minutes per game and should finish the season in that range with a boost in the short term.
February 26, 2020, 11:27 pmDeMar DeRozanSG, San Antonio Spurs
DeMar DeRozan did his best to lead the the Spurs in Wednesday's 109-103 loss to the Mavs, ending the contest with 27 points (9-15 FG, 0-1 3PT, 9-9 FT), eight rebounds, nine assists and one steal.
DeRozan continues to perform at a high-level when he's on the court, and any signs of back spasms seem to have disappeared. DeRozan has been a top-40 player on the season and has put up top-20 numbers over the last two weeks.
February 26, 2020, 11:23 pmKyle AndersonSF, Memphis Grizzlies
Kyle Anderson scored seven points with seven rebounds, four assists, two steals and one block in 18 minutes on Wednesday.
Anderson has the ability to post across-the-board production, but isn't great in any category outside of steals. He is a top-100 player over the past two weeks and will have a boost in value while Jaren Jackson Jr. and Brandon Clarke are sidelined. He can be added in 14-team leagues as a low-upside steals specialist until the Grizzlies get healthy.
February 26, 2020, 11:19 pmMarco BelinelliSG, San Antonio Spurs
Marco Belinelli technically fills the stat sheet on Wednesday by collecting 14 points (5-8 FG, 4-6 3PT), eight rebounds, and punching in just one assist, steal, block and turnover.
With LaMarcus Aldridge sitting this one out, Belinelli had some room to play off the bench and contributed from behind the arc and on the glass. Despite tonight's performance, he is someone that can be left on waivers in standard leagues.
February 26, 2020, 11:19 pmBam AdebayoC, Miami Heat
Even though he suffered an ankle sprain on Monday, Bam Adebayo did not look too slowed on Wednesday as he flirted with a triple-double, recording 22 points (6-of-13 FGs, 10-of-15 FTs), 10 rebounds, seven assists and two blocks in 33 minutes.
Bam's line was soured by his .667 shooting from the line and his four turnovers. However, you should train your eyes on those minutes and his actual production. Bam owners should feel confident to keep slotted in as usual in their lineups.
