While Joe Johnson started at power forward on Saturday, they received contributions from four different players and none of them really brought the goods for fantasy purposes.
Johnson played 30 minutes but shot just 4-of-12, finishing with 12 points, one rebound and three assists. The workload is encouraging and should give him a steady floor for deep league purposes. Thabo Sefolosha was second in line with 19 minutes, 12 points, five rebounds, two threes and a steal. The defensive stopper has proven to be a top-130 asset when the minutes are there and is probably the choice add if you’re itching to make a move. Jonas Jerebko logged 15 minutes but was able to tally four points, five boards, a steal and a block. His stat set makes him a more attractive deep league guy than Johnson, but only if the minutes even out there. Lastly, rookie Royce O’Neale got hot and finished with 12 points on 4-of-5 shooting (all threes) in 12 minutes. It’s a line to file away but he’s not in the conversation just yet.
