• According to Jody Genessy of the Deseret News, the Jazz have received a lot of interest in Derrick Favors.

The Jazz mentioned they are not looking to deal Favors even after a nightmare of a season that saw him play in only 50 games. His numbers and efficiency were down across the board as well while he recovered from off season knee surgery and the Jazz had it’s most successful season in years without much help from their presumed starting PF. It remains to be seen if Favors is the right front court match with their All-NBA center Rudy Gobert as his range does not extend much outside of the paint. The Jazz would be smart to gauge interest in Favors even though his value has bottomed out as their offensive production increased when a stretch-four type of player started alongside Gobert like Joe Johnson.
