Jeremy Lamb’s breakout season continued in the Hornets’ win over the Wizards on Wednesday, as he hit 6-of-12 shots (2-of-5 from deep, 4-of-4 from the line) for 18 points, seven rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block in 32 minutes off the bench.
Yes, P.J. Hairston left the game for a potential concussion and no it doesn’t matter when assessing this line. We pegged Lamb as a must-own guy within the first week of the season because he just looks like a guy that has taken a step forward and it’s as simple as that. He’s returning top 65-85 value on the year (9/8 cat) in just 24.6 mpg, but before you go getting too hot and bothered he’s still hitting 53.3 percent of his field goals and that simply can’t continue. Hopefully a minute increase comes with him cooling off, though that might be at odds with itself in reality. Nevertheless, this is not sell-high territory.
