January 12, 2019, 12:26 amJeremy Lamb - G - Charlotte Hornets
Jeremy Lamb showed little to no signs of his hamstring strain in Friday's 96-127 thrashing by the Blazers and was the only other Hornet outside of Kemba Walker to score in double figures with 15 points on 7-of-14 shooting, adding five rebounds, an assist and one steal.
Lamb is not ready to wow us just yet with his far better lines prior to the injury but he's getting there. A member of the Hoop-Ball Six, Lamb is in for a nice comeback and possibly even a strong post-All-Star run.
March 23, 2019, 11:30 pmMaxi Kleber - F - Dallas Mavericks
Maxi Kleber put up 16 points, nine rebounds and four 3-pointers on 6-of-9 from the field in Saturday's demolition of the Warriors.
Kleber didn't block a shot but we're guessing that fantasy owners won't have many issues with this game. It looks like he's fully recovered from his wrist sprain and should be in standard-league lineups from here on out. He sort of faded in the immediate aftermath of the DeAndre Jordan trade, which led to a lot of fantasy players writing him off, but Kleber is back.
March 23, 2019, 11:28 pmDwight Powell - F/C - Dallas Mavericks
Dwight Powell managed just four points, six rebounds, five assists and a steal in 26 minutes on Saturday night.
Powell wasn't needed for much with Dallas up big early and in cruise control for most of the night. He's still a must-start player through the end of the year despite the quiet game tonight. Jalen Brunson also fits that bill with 11 points, four rebounds, five assists and a 3-pointer in his 24 minutes.
March 23, 2019, 11:24 pmRyan Broekhoff - G/F - Dallas Mavericks
Ryan Broekhoff set a career-high with 17 points in Saturday's blowout over the Warriors, going 6-of-8 from the field while adding five rebounds, two assists, a steal and two 3-pointers in 25 minutes.
The Mavs absolutely throttled Golden State tonight in one of the surprises of the season, and Broekhoff was able to take advantage of the opportunity afforded by the score. He might be getting more minutes with Tim Hardaway Jr. out for the season but we'd need to see a follow-up performance with minutes in the twenties before treating this as more than a one-off.
March 23, 2019, 11:20 pmKostas Antetokounmpo - F - Dallas Mavericks
Kostas Antetokounmpo made his second NBA appearance on Saturday night, logging five minutes and one point in a blowout over the Warriors.
Antetokounmpo made his NBA debut earlier in the week but won't get much run going forward outside of garbage time, even with the Mavs out of the hunt. Daryl Macon also checked in for five minutes as the Mavs got a quick look at two rookies.
March 23, 2019, 11:07 pmKarl-Anthony Towns - F/C - Minnesota Timberwolves
Karl-Anthony Towns had an amazing line in Saturday's 112-99 win against the Grizzlies with 33 points, 23 rebounds, three assists, a steal, one block and four 3-pointers.
He also went 12-of-20 from the field and Towns has been proving all year long that he's one of the best fantasy players out there despite the slow start to the season because of the Jimmy Butler drama. Towns is on pace for another top-5 finish with averages of 24.7 points on 52.3 percent shooting, 12.5 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.7 blocks and 0.9 steals a game.
March 23, 2019, 11:05 pmKris Dunn - G - Chicago Bulls
Kris Dunn (sore back) played on Saturday against the Jazz but probably could've taken the night off as he finished with four points, three rebounds, five assists, a steal and a 1-for-8 shooting line in 21 minutes of action as the team lost 83-114.
Lauri Markkanen had 18 points and 10 rebounds on 6-of-20 from the field for Chicago's "good" box score performance. There's absolutely nothing to learn about the Bulls' known quantities from this one, except for the fact that Dunn is healthy enough to play.
March 23, 2019, 11:02 pmShaq Harrison - G/F - Chicago Bulls
Shaq Harrison started again on Saturday night and put up six points (2-of-9 shooting), nine rebounds, two assists, a steal and two blocks in a team-high 39 minutes against the Jazz.
Harrison came through for fantasy owners, even if the efficiency stings a bit. He's looking like a solid add for rebounds and steals out of a guard spot with Otto Porter (shoulder) looking like a shutdown candidate, and tonight was proof that Harrison's minutes are blowout-proof. It's not all that exciting but if you need steals, Harrison's certainly an option.
March 23, 2019, 10:59 pmAndrew Wiggins - G/F - Minnesota Timberwolves
Andrew Wiggins showed up on Saturday vs. the Grizzlies with 22 points, four rebounds, one assist, a block and a three in 35 minutes.
Wiggins went 9-of-15 from the floor and has been a good streaming option if you're in need for points and triples. Despite his physical tools and playing time, he has never been consistent in putting up good lines and just continues to tease fantasy owners from time to time on what he can become.
March 23, 2019, 10:55 pmBrandon Sampson - G - Chicago Bulls
Brandon Sampson tied his career-high with seven points on Saturday night, adding a steal, a block and a 3-pointer in a career-high 17 minutes.
The steal and block are also career-highs for Sampson, who has appeared in five games this season. At least the night was notable for someone on the Bulls, who lost by 31.
March 23, 2019, 10:53 pmJosh Okogie - G - Minnesota Timberwolves
Josh Okogie filled up the stat sheet with 17 points on 5-of-11 shooting while adding six rebounds, four assists, one steal, one block and a 3-pointer against the Grizzlies on Saturday.
Lines like this flash his potential and the damage he can do once he gets it together. Although, he's been known for his inconsistency but that comes with being a rookie. Fantasy owners can take a hard look at him if they have a streaming spot open and if the remaining games are in favor of Okogie blowing up or at least putting up a respectable line.
