Jeremy Lamb posted 12 points, three dimes, three boards, a steal and swat on 5-of-9 from the field and 2-of-4 from the stripe in Monday’s win over the Hawks.
Lamb’s line was decent, but more important was the injury news to Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (ankle). If the “Kidd” were to miss anytime then Lamb would stand to benefit and absorb some of those minutes. However, Gilchrist is day-to-day and could return as early as Wednesday against the Magic. As long as the Hornets starting lineup plus Marco Belinelli are healthy then Lamb will be capped and in a 20 minute or less role, making him an option only in deeper leagues.
