Jerian Grant had a nice all-around game in Friday’s loss, playing 27 minutes and posting 10 points, nine rebounds, eight assists, two steals and a 3-pointer.
Grant will enter the year as Chicago’s starting point guard since his competition got injured, but he may actually give the Bulls the best chance to win. He’s not likely to hold onto the gig all year long but could really lengthen the leash by starting the season with more games like this. If nothing else, he’ll be able to provide low-end volume until everyone gets healthy.
