Jerryd Bayless played 24 ineffective minutes on Saturday, shooting 2-of-7 and finishing with six points, one triple and one rebound.
Bayless’ line looks pretty empty but it was much more damaging for the actual Sixers than fantasy players. He started in place of J.J. Redick and needed to do a better job of stretching the floor, as his 1-of-5 mark from deep can attest. The Sixers had a chance to make this a single digit game in the fourth quarter before Bayless missed three wide open looks. Those back breaking misses could’ve changed things drastically tonight and it’ll be interesting to see if Bayless remains the replacement starter of choice going forward. T.J. McConnell, more of a traditional point guard, finished with eight points, one assist, two steals and two blocks in 20 minutes and is the preferred fantasy play regardless of whether or not Bayless starts-.
