Jimmy Butler scored 17 points on 5-of-17 shooting to go with three 3-pointers, seven boards, 10 assists and a steal in Tuesday’s 89-92 loss to the Wizards.
Butler has been the primary facilitator for the Wolves and his assists are starting to creep up which is giving him some added value. He’s just outside of the top-40 on the season after a slow start and he’s always been a good passer so the return of Teague shouldn’t take away too many dimes. Butler was frustrated after this loss, but it’s good to see him being aggressive again, taking 17.4 shots a game over his past five. He’ll be pushing early round value soon enough.
