Tom Thibodeau said that Jimmy Butler is dealing with "general soreness" in his knee right now but that he won't need any more procedures in the offseason.
Butler was Minnesota's MVP this season, and it's not surprising he's feeling the effects of returning from a lengthy layoff just in time for the most intense basketball of the season. He clearly wasn't at 100 percent in a first round series with the Rockets but deserves credit for taking on immense defensive responsibilities anyway. The Wolves would not have finished in eighth had Butler been healthy, so expect them to do everything in their power to make sure he's ready to rock next season.
